Build the programme once. Assign it to anyone.
Reusable templates, multi-week programmes and a calendar you can move things around on. Whether a client trains with you in the gym, online, or a mix of both, the plan lives in one place.
Verve's programme builder lets personal trainers create multi-week training plans from a library of strength and run templates, then assign them to one client or many with a single start date.
Templates you build once
Every session you write is a template. A strength template holds the exercises, sets, reps, rest and notes; a run template holds the distance, duration, pace or heart-rate targets and the structure of intervals or tempo blocks. Both come from a searchable exercise library you can extend with your own movements and media.
Scheduling a template onto a client's calendar clones it for that client, so you can tweak Tuesday's session for one person without changing the template or anyone else's copy.
Programmes by day number
A programme is a plan laid out by day: day 1, day 3, day 5 and so on across as many weeks as you need. Assign it to a client with a start date and day 1 lands on that date, with every session placed automatically.
Assign the same programme to a whole group, then change an individual's copy when their week changes. Templates and programmes stay in your library for the next client.
The calendar is the plan
Runs, strength sessions, files, content pages and events all sit on the client's calendar. Drag a session to another day, swap it for a different template, remove it, or add a note for that day only.
- Schedule a one-off session on any date without building a programme
- Attach a PDF, a video or a content page to a specific day
- Add events such as group sessions, races or assessments
- Log a session on a client's behalf after an in-person appointment
Let them train on their own
Some clients want structure but not a fixed day. Put sessions on their Train page instead of the calendar and they pick when to do them, with everything still logged and visible to you.
One plan for hybrid clients
A hybrid client might lift on Monday and Thursday, run intervals on Wednesday and go long on Sunday. In Verve that is one programme, one calendar and one conversation. Nothing has to be stitched together from separate apps.
Questions about programme builder
Can I mix strength sessions and runs in one programme?
Yes. A programme can hold strength sessions and runs on any days you choose, so hybrid clients get one plan rather than two.
If I edit a template, do scheduled sessions change?
No. Scheduling a template clones it for that client. Editing the template affects future scheduling only, and editing a scheduled copy affects that client only.
Can I assign the same programme to several clients?
Yes. Assign it to each client with their own start date. Each client gets an independent copy you can adjust.
Can I change a programme after it has been assigned?
Yes. Move, swap or remove sessions on the client's calendar, or edit the notes for a scheduled session, without touching the original programme.
