Packages & payments

Set the package once. Get paid every month.

Chasing invoices is the part of personal training nobody signed up for. Define what you sell, connect Stripe, and billing happens on schedule while you coach. Free packages work too.

Verve handles billing for personal trainers: you create packages with a price and interval, clients pay by card through Stripe when they accept an invitation, and recurring payments and invoices run automatically.

Packages that describe what you sell

A package is a name, a price, a billing interval and what is included: online coaching, hybrid coaching, a block of in-person sessions plus a programme. Make as many as you need and keep the ones you no longer sell hidden.

Stripe payouts to your own bank

Connect Stripe once. Client payments are collected by card and paid out to your bank account on Stripe's schedule. You see every payment and invoice from the coach panel.

From invitation to active client

Invite a client with a package attached. They accept, enter their card and are active the moment payment goes through. If they do not pay yet, they sit in Awaiting payment where you can see who needs a nudge.

  • Client statuses show who is invited, active, awaiting payment or cancelling
  • Recurring charges and invoices are generated for you
  • Unpaid clients are flagged as awaiting payment so nobody quietly lapses

Changing plans without a spreadsheet

Move a client between packages when their needs change. Verve applies the package-change rules so the switch is fair to both of you, and the client sees the new package in their app.

Cancel and resume

Cancel a client's subscription from their record and they keep access to the end of the billing period; either of you can resume it before then. Clients can update their own card from the app, so card-expiry admin stops being your job.

Questions about packages & payments

Do I need my own Stripe account?

Yes. You connect your own Stripe account and client payments are paid out directly to your bank.

What happens when a client's card fails?

The client is flagged as awaiting payment and sees a checkout button in their billing page, so you can see who needs a nudge without checking a bank statement.

Can clients update their own payment details?

Yes. Clients manage their card and see their package from the client app.

Does Verve take a share of what my clients pay me?

No. Client payments go through your own Stripe account. Verve charges you a flat plan price, and each plan has a limit on how many clients can be on your team.
