How client payments work
What happens between inviting a client on a paid package and the money arriving in your bank.
The flow
- You invite the client with a package and price.
- They accept and are sent to a Stripe Checkout page branded for your team. They pay by card.
- Stripe creates a subscription on your Stripe account and the client becomes Active.
- Each renewal Stripe charges their card again. If a payment fails, Stripe retries and the client's status shows as past due until it succeeds.
- Stripe pays out to your bank on the schedule you chose during onboarding.
Good to know
- Payments are between you and your client. Verve's own subscription fee is separate and comes from Settings → Billing.
- Clients manage their card and see invoices through a Stripe billing portal from their Billing page.
- Refunds are issued from your Stripe dashboard.
